The Moore League girls’ soccer game of the week is at Long Beach Poly tonight at 7 when the Jackrabbits host the Millikan Rams.
These two teams split three games last year as both picked up a win and they drew the third meeting. Before that Poly hadn’t beaten Millikan since 2017.
Poly (3-2-0, 3-0-0) picked up a huge result at Wilson last week with a 1-0 win.
Millikan (5-1-2, 3-0-0) is ranked No. 6 in the latest CIF Southern Section Division 1/2 poll and has only allowed two goals in eight games while scoring 34 of its own. Seniors Brooklyn Perez and Hannah Marshall have each scored a team-high four goals.

The Long Beach Poly football team got its CIF-SS championship rings last week, in an emotional ceremony followed by a family-style potluck.
